Publisher Description
Same-sex marriage is here, presenting unique challenges and opportunities. How do those who follow Christ faithfully answer the standard talking points for same-sex marriage? And how can they best articulate the case for one-man, one-woman marriage in everyday conversation?
Sean McDowell and John Stonestreet believe a thoughtful approach to God's design for marriage is the answer to both questions. The key is not a contentious attitude towards those who believe in same-sex marriage, but a winsome perspective that is faithful to Christ, committed to truth, and shaped by a love for God and others. Christians need to know that because Christ has risen, there is no such thing as "all hope is lost." They are still called to engage culture even if they are viewed as wrong, illegal and intolerant.

Very Insightful
I am speaking at an apologetics conference in a couple of months on sexuality and found this book to be very helpful. As far as defending the Biblical view of marriage, this book does a good job. God calls is to love and be representatives of God's grace, but we are also called to uphold truth. The book is good with balancing this.
Great
This book was very well written. It effectively explains the current cultural climate and gives practical advice in how we as a church and as individuals can respond lovingly. Thank you Sean and John. Great work.

Agreed, don't be homophobic
First review ever for me. Here we go. First Jesus taught us to love. Jesus never mentioned anything in regards to homosexuality or being homophobic such as yourself. In fact he taught love, and peace and patience. Something I question if you claim to be a follower of Christ. I am a gay Christian and I disagree and do not condone this type of homophobic behavior. Stop the spread of hate and start by looking at Christ and displaying love. To follow Christ, see the bible. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as a starter point. I was really interested in your other book now I question all books written by you. I will remind friends of this book and others you wrote to call into question.
