Sands of Gliese

When a commercial transport ship blasts out of the wormhole on a routine inter-planetary delivery in Constellation Scorpius, a surprise pirate attack forces the crew to crash-land on Planet Gliese 667Cc. Detectives Nolan and Lazio of the GCPD (Gliese City Police Department) are assigned to investigate the crash. Without any lead, they pondered on the possible reasons for the crash. Little did they know that there was an unlisted cargo with three mercenaries hired to safeguard it.

But by some twist of fate, the Special Cargo lands in the hands of two desert scavengers, the Bowen brothers, who are none too bright. Wild rumors begin to swirl when some scavengers are found executed not far from the crash site. Hushed words about a Special Cargo spread from the desolate deserts of Planet Gliese 667Cc to the bustling cloud City of Gliese.

While the anonymous client wants it back, Agriculturists, vow to destroy it and the Technologists ensures to exploit it.

Even as the detectives begin to draw closer to the truth, they keep finding themselves always a few steps behind. They sense the presence of more powerful and sinister forces at work. The detectives cannot but help wonder who is involved and just how many more have to die before it is found.
