I have a love hate relationship with this story. While I love that both characters overcome grief and heal with each other; I hate how passive Sarah is (more often than not) and how selfish and controlling Rome is at times. It’s worth a read if you can get past their weak points.
It was a good book, but dislike the verbal abuse towards Sarah. I understand that he's going through a tough time losing his wife and kids, but that doesn't mean he should take it out on her. I must say that Sarah really loved this man through it all, bc I would have left him a long time ago. I don't really want to say much about the book, but it was just ok.
