Satellite Bible Atlas

I am the author of the Satellite Bible Atlas. At this point I don't recommend purchasing the ipad version. There are some aspects of the ipad edition that I don't like: 1) maps don't stay at desired zoom and 2) the text commentary is too small. We have played with update formats and see other possibilities, but until the update (i.e., as long as this post is up), I recommend sticking with the hard cover book (OK, unless you are in some far away location that mailing becomes inordinately expensive). For those that have already purchased the ipad version - an eventual should solve the above issues, and more.

I agree with the author. I will wait for the update. This does not opperate correctly.

I’ve used this book now for the last 4 years and have found it immensely helpful. I prefer digital to physical books for the simplicity of travel, and I believe this digital copy is worth having even if there hasn’t been an update as the author suggested in the comments.

On an iPad, just use screen rotate lock, and then turn the iPad. The resource itself out weights any small inconveniences.
