Savage River

In dark times, every man, every woman, learn to build their own homes from the whirlwinds of blood and mud; every ghost sacrifices the warmth of its body in order to keep the shadows that threaten their beloved ones. In the misery of the secret births, the horizon’s color becomes the promise of the sunrise animals governed by the coldness. We must return to Earth to watch our works devastated; try to listen to the profound daemons in the faces of the dead; burn the cells in which we were brought up, sensing the death of the empire’s river in the stone ages of the oceans we were unable to conquer.
