Saving Star Lake

Luke Emerson and Emma Burkley had it all. Living on the cherished Star Lake Resort, the lifelong best friends spent their days enjoying their never-ending paradise filled with happiness and sunshine. That is, until a blood-chilling scandal came along, demolishing their summer idyll and taking the success of the resort down with it. Now, a year later, with the help of their loyal new friends--Caleb Donnely, Zoe Edwards, and Alex Wilson--Luke and Emma are determined to save their beloved homeland from the clutches of an invested buyer, who, ironically enough, played a major role in the previous summer's scandal.

Throughout their adventures, the pair discovers that the best way to recover from their negative past experience is by spending time with the people they love and trust. During their journey, they learn about the power of friendship, how to be grateful for what you have, and to live life on your own terms. 

The five new friends don't have it easy as they uncover hidden secrets about the resort and attempt to spread the story that seemingly no one wants to hear. Still, one thing is for certain: no matter how impossible it may seem, they will save Star Lake.
