Return to New York Times and USA TODAY bestselling author Liliana Hart’s romantic suspense series, the Gravediggers, with this thrilling game of cat and mouse between a member of the Gravediggers and the brilliant woman hot on his heels.
The world thinks they're dead. The world is wrong.
Dante Malcolm is a man of refined tastes. He was once a part of Britain’s Elite Intelligence Force, but there was a reason he’d never been able to capture Simon Locke, the notorious thief who always seemed to be one step ahead. That’s because Dante and Simon were one and the same, until Dante’s double life eventually caught up with him and now he belongs to the Gravediggers.
Liv Rothschild is a Detective Inspector with Interpol and is the one responsible for catching MI-6’s most notorious agent in his final heist—except the heist killed him. But something has never felt right about his death, and it’s haunted her for months. It was too easy, and Dante Malcolm was too smart to go down that way.
Dante might belong to the Gravediggers in body, but his heart and soul will always belong to the next job. The rest of the team doesn’t know about his alter ego because he made sure the information went missing from his file. So when the job he’s always waited for seems like a possibility, he sneaks out of the country like a thief in the night, only to run into the only woman who’s ever been able to match him in wit—and passion—for the job. Except they’re standing on opposite sides of the law—and only one of them can walk away with the prize.
The third Gravediggers contemporary romantic thriller (after Gone to Dust) continues Hart's winning formula of combining high adventure and espionage with steamy sex. English Lord Dante Malcolm is an adrenaline junkie, juggling his MI6 day job and his secret identity as master thief Simon Locke. He's always one step ahead of Interpol agent (and his lover) Liv Rothschild, who's determined to stop Simon before his next heist. When Dante gives up everything to fake his death and become an operative of the supersecret Gravediggers, his one major regret is having to break up with Liv, because no other woman can take her place. Liv is shocked when Dante, who she thought was dead, crosses her path in Dubai. He's there to bring down a billionaire baddie, the Sultan, who is auctioning off nuclear codes and traffics in women and young girls. Dante and Liv reconnect romantically as they team up against the Sultan. Globetrotting from France to Last Stop, Tex. (home of the Gravediggers), to the British Virgin Islands, Hart's high-tempo thriller never lets up . Fans will enjoy her employment of the entire Gravedigger team, who sat out much of the last book, as they stay one step ahead of the enemy.
I've probably said this before but this is the best one. Funny with some smoking sex, a little mystery, and several handsome guys. I felt like I was right there with them or watching a movie. By the way this would make an awesome movie.
Liv works for Interpol and has been searching for her twin sister for twenty some years. She is paired up with MI6 agent Dante, they are looking for a thief who slips in and out without anyone knowing. What Liv doesn't know is that the thief and Dante are one and the same. But his number is up, he can either go to prison or join THE GRAVEDIGGERS. He chooses option two and goes off a building with Liv standing there.
Two years later Dante is sent to steal nuclear launch codes and runs into Liv who is looking for kidnapped girls. She gets taken back to headquarters with them to determine whether they can trust her or not. They are all sent to go undercover to an island where they think the launch codes and girls are. They must find the codes and girls before they're auctioned off.
