Scarlet Fire Blues

In this short story set in the late 1970s, Diane and Nick have been best friends and a couple since they were kids. Nick only has eyes for Diane, but she has stars in her eyes. Nick wants to open a business and settle down, but Diane sets her sites on seeing her name in lights on a theater marque.
As both careers blossom, each faces tremendous challenges, and both are strongly tested!
