Scarlet's Web

Scarlet Smithson is a shy young woman from a family rooted in wealth and privilege. At a party in her first year in college she is irrevocably humiliated by the guy she was crushing on. Something sinister that laid dormant within her is stirred. 

After vacationing in Europe, Scarlet comes back transformed, and completes her degree. She returns to New York City to work for her father's company. Her life seemingly halts when she re-connects with a man from her past, one that she never thought she would see again. Their relationship ignites, and Scarlet can’t get enough of him. That relationship is threatened when the slumbering part within her, fully awakens one night. 

This changes the course of her life forever. It is that night, when she makes her first kill. This subsequently leads to a devious pattern that spirals out of control. Soon detectives are on the look-out for a serial killer that is known to act out their crimes on the bridges of Manhattan. Scarlet hides this malicious side of her from all that she loves, maintaining the façade of her perfect and privileged lifestyle.
