Scenes from Nagaland

Intimate pictures of life amongst the Konyak people in Nagaland (North East India, on the border with Myanmar). Their ceremonies, their history, their craftsmanship, their villages. A culture in transition; within living memory they were feared and prolific head hunters upon whom modern Christianity has very recently been imposed. Despite this the village life is not so far removed from what it has always been.
