Words may be sports journalist JJ Fairchild's tool of trade, but when it comes to the bedroom, dirty talk escapes her.
Sinfully handsome football superstar Trevor Wyatt has lusted for the sassy southern woman since before he retired. Now that she's back in his life, Trevor's not going to miss his second chance to show her just how good they could be together. And teaching her to loosen up and say what she wants, out loud, is just the cherry on top.
He's an excellent teacher and before JJ knows it, she's asking for everything she craves. And what she wants more than anything is Trevor. But she won't be just another notch on his bedpost.
It's time for Trevor to turn on the focus and determination that made him a legend on the field. His game winning strategy? Prove to JJ that he's playing for keeps.
If you like possessive heroes who know what they want and do whatever it takes to get it, found family, gal pals, protective big brothers, along with plenty of spice, fancy shoes, and a fast burn, this one's for you.

Well- developed characters, dynamic story
Thoroughly enjoyed the feisty female lead. Also appreciated that both characters had integrity and maturity.
Eh
The idea was good, it was just confusing as heck, like flipping between random people and places, I had nooo idea what was going on and would have to go back.
Needs an editor
Why do romance novels with authors as the FMC have the worst editing? Is it really just part of the author’s fantasy that their avatar MC has an actual editor/publisher who will check the book for typos, errors, and plot/consistency issues? By a third of the way through the book, I started to make a game out of how many typos I could highlight. When the setting became completely confusing at the climax of the plot (where are they at the start of Ch 26 - a hotel, an airport, a stadium - who can tell?!), I lost all patience with this author. The plot was serviceable enough, but the lack of editing is inexcusable.
