Scottish Avalanche Information Service Report for Winter 2018/19

An annual report from the Scottish Avalanche Information Service that summaries the winter conditions from service operation start in mid December 2018 to mid April 2019. A description of the evolution of the seasonal snowpack with reference to avalanche events and human involvement. The report also summarises human avalanche involvement in relation to the daily avalanche hazard ratings. Latest developments are also included which describes the work with international agencies and national foundations and seminar findings.
