Accounting - seeking to keep trustworthy records to benefit others - is an honorable endeavor for a committed Christian. A Christian accountant reliably keeps the books so the financial reports faithfully represent the business activities of the company. Doing so requires a grounding in God's Word as well as an understanding of modern principles and standards. Accounting can positively contribute to an organization and society when God's Word guides the practice.
