Prayer

We pray for all who are affected by the violence of knife crime:
For families living in fear of tragic news or mourning the loss of their young,
we pray for your comfort and compassion,
For young people drawn to the lure of gang culture or struggling to escape its hold,
we pray for your protection and a safe way forward.
For church and community initiatives, which provide hope and practical help,
we pray for success.
All this we ask of the One who endured a violent death that we may know peace.
Amen.
