Good, but didn’t love the ending.
I enjoyed this book up until the ending. Lots of Trigger Warnings, check before reading.
An unexpected, unorthodox love story
I’m not sure what I was expecting going into this book (although it did exceed many of my expectations), it was refreshingly different and SPICY! For me, spice level is quite high, be prepared for most of this book to be very spicy scenes… As other reviews state, there should be a trigger warning for S.A. and severe physical abuse. I really felt though as these inclusions in the book add so much grit and value to the story itself and the history behind a pirate era. They’re very important to the story and made me feel so deeply for the heroine of this wonderful sea adventure. A must read if you’re ready for a wild, sexy, and twisting ride.

It definitely had parts that were difficult to read, but it’s such a great story. I truly enjoyed it!
