Seaport at Sunrise

Caroline Weyland sails from Liverpool to Famagusta in Cyprus to join her parents in the mid 1950s, at a time when Cypriots were fiercely fighting for independence from Britain. Her parents are in the British army and Caroline is growing into adulthood and making friends with men for the first time. While the riots, ambushes, kidnappings and assassinations are going on all around the small island, Caroline learns about romance, fear and excitement.
