Seaside Summers is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series.
Having a mad crush on her boss’s son, Matt Lacroux—an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy—is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt’s life is hours away from Mira’s home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.
With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt’s publishing contract couldn’t have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, seductive Mira.
A surprise encounter leads to white-hot passions and midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt’s sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira’s not saving his father’s company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?

My favorite book by this author!!!
Seaside Whispers is book 8 in the Love in Bloom, Seaside Summers series. I think this book might possibly be my favorite written by this very talented author.
Matt LaCroux is an amazing man and this author couldn't have chosen a more perfect woman and child combo for him to fall in love with. Mira Savage is a very good single mother and very protective of her and her son's hearts. Her very smart son, Hagan, six years old, is absolutely adorable. Waiting for Matt to decide on whether he was going back to teaching in New Jersey or staying in the Cape with her and Hagen was agonizing for Mira. Matt has been so educationally driven his whole life no one had any idea which direction he would choose. Watching how Matt treated Mira was like floating on a huge cloud of very real and very passionate romance but ALWAYS keeping her son in mind. Absolutely AMAZING! I can't wait to devour more of this author's books.
Matt and Mira
What’s a professor to do when he realizes he won’t be promoted to dean? Take a sabbatical to write a book, of course. And this is what’s brought Matt Lacroux back to the seaside area. He wants to write his book, but he can’t help being the hero and helping anyone and everyone. He falls for Mira, who has a mind of her own as well as a young son.
I’ve read several books by this author and have always enjoyed the books in her Seaside series. This book is no exception. The story moves at a good pace with plenty of backstory and visits from past characters. It’s almost like a homecoming in some scenes, but the book can totally be read as a stand-alone.
Who knew that libraries could be so cool? From libraries to co-ops, to building a raft, this story will make you want to have fun and maybe do some guy things (in kidspeak).
B.J. Harrison does an outstanding job voicing the characters in the audio version. He's smooth and his voices are believable. Enjoyable.
Matt is Hot!
OMG! Matt was everything you want in a man. Where is my Matt. He knew what he wanted and he wasn't let anything or anyone interfere with him being with Mira and Hagen. Matt was lovable. Sexy and a man in control. Whew and Matt had a way with words, he even had me hot. The sex was jumping off the pages. Matt is my new book boyfriend. I might say that after all Melissa Foster books I read. 😂 lol. Mira was a single mother that work for Matts father. Matt had courted the idea of dating her for a year. Decided enough was enough.
