This story focuses on Adrian (Tristian’s friend) and Paige (Belle’s friend and Executive Assistant).

I would classify this as a second chance frenemies to lovers romance because there seemed to be a lot of hate before they find the love again.

This book picks up right where we left of in Second Chance Rival with Paige and Adrian facing off. These two have a lot of history mostly painful due to a lot of decisions made with the best intentions that didn’t work out unfortunately.

What I enjoyed the most about this book was Paige’s refusal to give into Adrian’s demands so easily. She didn’t forgive and forget even though Adrian at times tried to make her do just that. Their history was definitely complicated with Paige being his little brother’s, Cade’s, best friend.

We also have a stalker mystery that created a lot of twists and turns for the story; I was shocked that Paige waited so long to actually worry about it, but thankfully Adrian was there to help in his own annoying way.

I really did enjoy this book like I said I loved that Paige handled herself without swooning so easily; however, I was annoyed because Adrian’s “self-sacrifice” in the past didn’t go as he planned, but he did nothing to actually fix it until 10+ years later. I completely understand Paige’s hurt and hatred since she was the one who lost everything with Adrian’s action or should I say inaction.

I am sad that this is the last book in this series, but it was a nice ending for the series.

M. Robinson at her best!!

What a fabulous way to end this series! I absolutely adore Paige and Adrian. This story hooked me in from the beginning and I feel is the best in the series! The story line and writing gave me vibes of M. Robinson’s previous Good Old Boys series. The angst and feels were incredible!

This book just yanked me right in and held me there! I couldn’t put it down! I read it within 24 hours! Holy alpha male, and chemistry and action.. just when I thought I had thing figured out, bam nope wrong omg I can’t believe what just happened! What a predicament to be in! You’ve got to read this book!
