Meeting at a charity dinner and continuing to meet Jason and virgin Marigold knew they were in love.

At Jasons home after her first visit for Sunday lunch, as Marigold was changing afterwards for riding in the wood, through the open windows she heard Jasons mother, Lady Norton discussing her.

We mustnt encourage her. She would be unsuitable for Jason. With her infamous aunts many affairs she would drag his career down. He will be taking Silk and then going on to be a Judge.

Heartbroken Marigold fled to Cornwall to be with her ex nanny before she started work in her aunts fashion store. Jason knowing where to find her followed her and they were given a second chance.
