Despite years of physical therapy, her recovery is slow, until a new captain arrives and gives her a reason to walk.

The Lost Ingredient: A food memoir from the point of view of Tray Matthews. In three vignettes, Tray uses his love of cooking to cope with the loss of his older brother, and to reconnect when they find each other again twenty years later.
