Publisher Description

Secretly hooking up with the team captain’s sister was a bad idea.

In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn’t know who she was.

Kind, gorgeous, a little naïve. Ginny brightened my world from day one.

I knew I was no good for her. She was just out of a relationship and I had a reputation for having a new girl in my bed every weekend.

I tried to do the right thing. Honest.

I’m the one who insisted we should just be friends.

That lasted about as long as you’d expect.

But Ginny? She’s the best - best friend, best everything.

So yeah, hooking up with the team captain’s sister wasn’t a great idea.

Would I do it again?

In a heartbeat.

Love between the hockey player and the tour guide

I loved this book, and I must say, that I don’t usually read college romances. The author is new-to-me, but I truly enjoyed her writing. She did a beautiful job of describing the relationship, of not only the main couple, but also all their surrounding friends. Truly they were a mismatched group, but almost as close as siblings. The angst, the trama, were all handled with great care by the author.
Heath is a member of the college hockey team, and known as a player, on and off the ice. He is attracted to Ginny, as soon as he meets her, but can only be her friend, because she is the sister of the team captain. He begins a hidden relationship with Ginny, so that her brother won’t find out.
Ginny has just started college, and is suffering from a breakup, with her long time boyfriend. She also feels an immediate attraction to Heath, but is scared to begin a new relationship. She also has a fear of small dark closed areas. When she is stuck in a bathroom with lights, her fear sets in, but she is saved by Heath.
The relationship between Heath and Ginny progresses, but due to a childhood drama, Heath is unable to admit his love for Ginny. This causes a short breakup, but they eventually realizes that they can’t function while being apart.
During the wedding of Heath’s brother, their true love shines thru, and they obtain their HEA.
I plan to try to read more books by this author, and highly recommend her books.

Back to Valley with the hottest guy on campus

Ya’ll this is Heath aka Baby Payne, Nathan’s little brother from The Fake. If you haven’t read that book, then do it...scratch that, read the whole series because it’s one of my favorites. This book takes us back to the Valley campus...but with hockey players *wags eyebrows*. Heath and Ginny meet in the campus cafeteria line, romantic enough for my food. Then about a hot second later, they find out who each of them are, her being the little sister of his hockey teams Captain. Her brother ask Heath to watch out for her, and he definitely does, deflecting potential dates....cracked me up seeing him get all worked up. I love their interactions with each other, they are very attracted to each other, but start as friends. Adored their friendship, they spend so much time together, with a nice slow burn, all the while teasing and flirting with each other. They were so funny together, Heath has always been that way, but he raises his game in this one. He actually put himself in her phone as Hottest guy on campus, and their text had me laughing so hard.

Safe read with a sexy af hockey player, his sweet girl and some crazy hot chemistry. I know, right...there was some hot moments for sure. I love that we get to go back to the Valley campus, The White House, and we get to read some of our favorites from The Smart Jock series and from Sweet Spot. She took us back and she did a fantastic job of intertwining everyone. Lots of college shenanigans, with a bunch of guys being guys, and so many laughs. Plenty of new favorite characters, including her besties, Dakota and Reagan. A few shocks, and oh wow, ok moments. There were also some heartfelt moments, and I will never listen to a Mariah Carey song the same way again, for multiple reasons. As always a great storyline.

Rebecca Jenshak thank you for taking me back to one of my favorite campuses and my favorite book worlds.

My favorite Rebecca Jenshak book!

This book kept the biggest smile on my face and was so hard to put down. I absolutely loved Ginny and Heath so much! The obvious attraction and chemistry between them just adds to them being friends for their own reasons. But once the chemistry becomes too much to ignore they become my favorite couple from Rebecca Jenshak’s books.

With Ginny’s brother being Heath’s roommate and hockey captain and it adds an element to their friendship then relationship. Especially since the relationship starts beneath his nose without him knowing things have changed.

There are so many elements to this book that I loved like the traditions between friends, the fierce loyalty between characters and the hype room. The group of hockey players always together show a fierce brotherhood and the girls across the hall totally take Ginny under their wing and become fast friends.

This book is low angst and a fun college book about a hockey hunk and a girl who doesn’t want anything to do with boys. I was sucked in from the beginning and couldn’t put it down.
