Secrets or Lies

Using the 'Jewish Quota" as its backdrop, Secrets or Lies weaves two love stories set seventy years apart. The first occurs in pre-Holocaust Vienna, and on the surface, it is a simple love story: two people fall in love, are separated by war, and never see each other again.

In the present day, the grandchildren of the two lovers, living in different corners of the world, discover the diaries and love letters of their respective grandparents, forcing each to re-examine and question their own lives: was their grandparents' love for them genuine or a carefully crafted facade to something far more complicated?
