A Perfect Recluse: This wonderful story will keep you hooked from start to finish. I loved Susannah and all she went through. Even though Patrick didn’t like being around others, he just couldn’t help himself with Susannah, she is so likable, wanting to please. I loved all the awesome descriptions, surprises, and so much more. The chemistry was so sizzling.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wartime with a Warrior: This story is so very worth the read, I loved how surprised Barnaby was when he met Fred. Fred was able to complete so much without even trying. She is so resourceful, he can’t help but to admire all she has accomplished. I was immersed from the start, through to the end.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced review copy of this book.

Patrick Flannery Is perfectly content to live as a recluse. Then Susannah Varner, running from scandal, blows into his life in the middle of a storm. Born a lady and now forced to make her own way in the world, Susannah takes a job at the ill tempered recluse’s lighthouse. She hasn’t any idea what she’s doing and Patrick finds himself rescuing her repeatedly. This is such a sweet story of two people who find a lovely didn’t realize they wanted and needed. The author does a wonderful job of creating characters you’re sure to root for. I enjoyed this sweet story immensely.
I will be adding to my review of this wonderful collection.
16 stories; 1 or 2 worthwhile
Disappointing book. None of the stories were checked for spelling—the wrong words were often confusing. The writing for most of them seemed to be by beginners. I read them all (well, I skimmed some) looking for a well-written one. The second story, and maybe the 3rd, were good.
