thorough ebook!
Loved this e-book! I've always wanted to get my musical theater career jump-started, but didn't know where to start. this book takes you step by step, from moving to NYC to what you need to do for training, getting an agent, etc.
Very comprehensive and easy to follow, with guidance and journal activities to keep you creative and working toward your goals. Simple style and conversational language, like the author is chatting with you, not talking down to you.
Also really liked that he gives you examples from his own career, (writer is a working actor) so the advice doesn’t appear out of a vacuum. He gives personal experiences, and tells you mistakes he made, say, with getting an agent and manager to help you avoid problems early in your career. Repeats concepts over and over, but in a new way each time that drives them home and you won't forget! I feel like going into auditions now I have an arsenal of tools to make me more successful after reading.
