Fantastic Novel
One of the things I like about this story is that, like a lot of Star Trek stories, it keeps you grounded, i.e. humbled. Just when you think you’re “all that”, you read about characters like Data, Lal, Bashir and Douglas, who are all brilliant and exceptional characters, and you realize you’re not. But even they are light years behind Control in terms of sophistication. I’m not sure what the next book after this one is (or will be), but I will definitely be reading it once I find out.

This is maybe the best Star Trek novel I’ve ever read. I’d say it was definitely the most exciting. David Mack writes amazingly well.
This is a spy thriller set in the Trek universe. It’s brilliant.

One of the best Star Trek novels in recent memory! A page-turner with exciting yet disturbing revelations! Bashing trams up with Data to expose the true nature of the pervasiveness of the rogue bureau, and put it all on the line to try to bring it down!
