Feels right
I'm a former Jarhead, and this book just has the right feel. The author has done a good job of capturing the essential nature of the Corps. On top of that, it's the first book of a rip roarin' tale that's good fun to read.

This first book in the Corps series does a great job of introducing the characters who will enthrall you as you make you way through WEB Griffins historical fiction of World War Two. The book also introduces the marine Corp with all its pomp and tradition.
