Publisher Description
This is the third of four books of my ongoing project to document Little Seneca Lake, Lake Churchill and the surrounding residential and parkland habitats.
Next to fall, my favorite season is spring. While winter and summer change very little during the time they are here, spring and fall are seasons of dramatic transitions. With fall, it is the changing colors of the leaves, shorter days and the chill in the air which signals the coming of winter. With spring, the days are getting longer and warmer, and the land starts to wake up from its long winter’s rest. From the early flowers and the spots of green on the trees, which eventually will become this year’s leaves, to the birds and animals that live here becoming more active, it seems that new life is everywhere.
