Senior Living

Today, like every other day, several thousand old people, now euphemistically known as "elderly" or seniors, will face the world from a perspective virtually unknown in past generations. They have chosen to live in housing complexes designed exclusively for the elderly. Although there is no fixed pattern for this new construct the units vary from patio homes to one, two, or three bedroom apartments. All have been built for independent living, or assisted living arrangements, and in some instances nursing homes.
