This was an amazing but beautiful love story. The story held my attention, was exciting and it was so well done; but it also was heartwarming, emotional, and humorous at times. I really enjoyed reading this book and the momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more that you can’t put it down! I was enthralled with the characters of Claire Finn and Jacob (Jake) Carter and the banter between the two. The chemistry between the two main characters could generate fire in the scorching love scenes that burned through my iPad! This is a story of a movie star who was working from her deceased grandfather’s notoriety/stardom status. Claire is a gold-digger that wants status and Hollywood connections for acting jobs to continue her lifestyle. She is also a struggling actress with a B-list appearance, but A-list heritage (her grandfather). Her mother arranges for Claire to marry Arthur Carter, the top producer in Hollywood since their status/money diminished when they had to sell Claire’s grandfather production company to pay off debts. The problem—Arthur Carter is the same age as her grandfather and his friend. Jake Carter is very handsome, sexy. When Claire meets Jake at her engagement party, she does not know him and does the unthinkable—has seven minutes in heaven of great sex. The problem—Jake is Arthur’s son!! What a whirlwind of seven minutes! Will Claire find out Jake is her stepson-to-be?? Will Arthur find out that Claire and Jake had sex? My, my, there is a lot on the table to affect this engagement/marriage. The chemistry between Claire and Jake grows more potent the more time they spend together—the sex is off-the-chart hot! You will need to read to find out what happens, but it will be worth reading. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This was an enjoyable book with an interesting plot and dialogue, and it keeps you reading to the end to find out what happened—it will pique your interest and drawn you in.

This series is fascinating to me because I'm curious about the different definitions of arranged marriage.

Claire is a Hollywood heiress but there's not really much left to her family besides the name. In order to get a leg up in her career and continue to live the life she's grown accustomed to, she agrees to marry Arthur Carter, an aging producer who was friends with her grandfather. Arthur has quite the reputation in Hollywood of being a philanderer but Claire is only thinking about how he can secure her future. When Claire sees Arthur being Arthur with another woman at their engagement party, she decides to do the same with a very attractive man that she just met. Unfortunately for her, the man she chose turns out to be her soon to be stepson. What transpires is a story of fate, love, and chemistry.

I wouldn't call Claire and Arthur's relationship "arranged." Claire is every bit a golddigger and her mother encourages this behavior. I loved the interactions between Claire and Jake. This story also parallels a lot of current news events regarding what happens behind the curtain in Hollywood and I appreciated how this subject was dealt with.
