Wow! I feel totally blown away. I actually had low expectations and with very few exceptions, I only read stand alone stories. I was absolutely stunned by the book. It grabbed and held my attention. I was enthralled and fascinated by the intriguing story line, so much so that I am going to purchase book #2 now.
Surprisingly good
Don't let the god-awful cover deter you. This book is really quite good. It is really hard to read an original paranormal YA type romance now-a-days without coming across a lot of repeat themes, but this book has more originality than several I've read lately. Though there are some expected cliches, the arrangement and introduction of new concepts are refreshing. I bought the second book...and that in itself is saying something. I download virtually every free starter I come across and rarely go on to purchase the second. I would estimate that I go on to purchase the second book of a series 1 out of 20 times, probably less. And after the second I rarely need to purchase the third. I'm halfway through the second and can see me wanting the third.

Each and every book in this series leaves you wanting more! The twists and turns are perfectly formed. I loved them all.
