Ice cream soda of stories
I loved Penrod and this story is nearly as good. It's funny and spot-on, and absolutely merciless to poor old Willie. I can't believe the only version I've ever found is digital.
Timeless humor!
Most enjoyable story of teenage "love". Uproariously funny. It captures the agony and ecstasy of being in love during the teenage years in a most delightful and humorous manner. A throughly enjoyable novel.
