Sexuality Advice

Modern readers have access to an enormous amount of sexual advice.  Readers may be surprised to learn that informative advice on sex was written about long before the Internet era.  This volume, Sexual Advice, contains several complete books.


“Plain Facts for Old and Young” is by the well-known cereal magnate, J. H. Kellogg, who was known as a freethinker on sex, health and nutrition.

“The Sex Side of Life” is by Mary Ware Dennett and is especially intended for young people.

The simply titled Sex is by Henry Stanton.  The subtitle “Avoided Subjects Discussed in “Plain English” shows the need for such advice.  The book was not published until 35 years after his death, probably because he did not wish to embarrass his daughter, Elizabeth Cady Stanton.

“Sane Sex Life and Sane Sex Living” is by H. W. Long.
