Not what I expected
Another great book for Sawyer Bennett, however it wasn’t what I expected. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. I know that is odd for me, because I love her writing. I can’t put into words why it didn’t do it for me. I liked the characters, but Emma’s insecurities got old after a while. It was well written and the story was good, but I could predict what was coming.
This is a fun sexy read and everyone reads the same book differently, so please take a chance and read it.

First let me say I love Sawyer Bennett. I’ve read and enjoyed all of the other books in her Legal Affairs series. I delayed purchasing Sex, Lies and Rock & Roll due to the poor comments by other reviewers. Unfortunately they were right. Emma the female lead is just too weak and I really didn’t like her too much. Overall the story did not have the spark or the humor of the other books in the series.
I can’t recommend this one.
It was okay
So I’ve read ALOT of Sawyer’s books.. and I can’t remember a female character who I just genuinely disliked as much as Emma. She’s constantly beating herself down and doubting any good qualities she might have. And honestly, it’s really annoying. After the first few chapters I already knew this wasn’t going to be a favorite of mine. This book was just okay.
