~ The 3rd Sister ;)
The 3rd story in the Handcrafted Trilogy brings us Daley & Callum. Callum who knows Rafe & Matteo from their life in Vancouver & business dealings, knows that his buddies have found their other halves in Crawford Bay. Callum has barely walked into town before Daley sees him & makes certain incorrect assumptions. Daley has her comfortable life in Crawford Bay, doing her charcoal art, in her wonderful home. She doesn’t need or want a Dom impinging on her space! She has Liane & India, who have their men but they are all her family & things are great. As the story unfolds you wonder can a man who has lost the love of his life, find a love to share the rest of his life with?
“Reverence wraps around us, the knowing that we’ve just met a moment that comes only rarely in a lifetime. One with no words.”
Once again, Lilia Moon gives us a beautiful book! Thank you!
Insightful end to this 3 couple trilogy
Lilia Moon's Shaded Lines was a fascinating story. Daley and Callum make a fascinating pair, she's most definetly not a submissive and he is an experienced Dom. Ayer something inside just connects and the showed the beauty of the growing self awareness required for that connection. While each of the books in this story can be read as stand alone stories the relationships between the woman and between the men that flow through the books are extremely satisfying to see.
I received an advance reader copy.
I love this story with its older couple!
Callum is an older friend of Matteo and Rafe. When he stops for a visit, he meets Daley, an artist. I DO enjoy reading about an older couple! They’ve each been married before and are not expecting to find love again. Their relationship becomes far more than they anticipate. Their exploration of the possibilities leads them in interesting directions.
I am fascinated by the process Daley uses to reveal the hidden portion of her subjects. She says she is “making art of tears and dust and truth.” Interestingly, Callum’s insights and techniques are also adept at revealing the soul, as Daley discovers. I adore them as a couple; their story makes me very happy!
