Shadow Heart

Elise is a young woman who lost her parents when she was five and who longs for love and the security of a family. Instead, she grows up under very oppressive conditions with her aunt Tylandora, a cold-hearted vampire, who cannot ignore Elise's greatest flaw; that she was born a human and not a vampire. Elise is barey of age when Tylandora decides to sell her to a wealthy businessman. However, another vampire shows interest in the pretty young woman - and Konstantin Rouillard has his own plans; he is particularly fond of her humanity.

In a world dominated by vampires, Elise must find her way. From her desperation grows the hope of a better existence, in which her wishes could come true. Can Konstantin lay the world at her feet? And can Elise manage to open her heart to a vampire? Not everyone is benevolent towards her fate.
