Shadow of a Doubt

Lady Michaela Hewes has never been the sort of woman to wait, and yet wait she must. Her wayward cousin, Dominic Eastwood, has refused to claim his position as head of the Order, leaving her beleaguered fiancé to attend to affairs. Michaela is none too pleased.

But then Scotland Yard comes to call on the Order for help. Four girls have vanished, gone without a trace. The only commonality is they were going to finishing school. Different finishing schools. Leaving from different places.

Did they run away on their own? Did someone take them? Was something darker, more sinister at play here?

The Order is the only body who can determine that, but Michaela and Alton cannot do it alone.

They need Dominic, and Michaela will not take no for an answer.
