I expected something different but it was a good read either way

I liked the plot of this one - the tournament was very cool and an interesting theme for the book. I also enjoyed the way this one intertwined with Lothaire, giving more backstory from the Dacian perspective. A lot of people say they don't like Bettina because she's not kickass and cocky like most IAD heroines, but I found a "different" lead female to be refreshing.

This book had a lot of cool scenes. Loved Salem, too - hoping he gets his own book...?!

Love all these books, this one is no different. Love it

Love the books. Always wanting to know what happens next and the romance. It's only things we can dream of. I love getting list in them. Can't wait to read more!

Very steamy! Not usually into romance, but loved this book! Page turner

This book had me entranced I had time putting it down ! I want more !,,,,

Unfortunately, neither hero or heroine were very compelling and there was little humor found in repeat characters that were almost non-existent. I must concede this is the dullest novel I have read by Ms. Cole. It felt phone in.

I'm a true fan of Kresley and the IAD series, but this one felt a bit forced. Bett was just boring and I prefer to read about a heroine that knows who she is (i.e. Regin, Elizabeth, Sabine). Bett seemed as though she could sway her feelings for someone by a mere kiss. Definitely steamy but lacking in depth.

I have enjoyed the IAD series & looked forward to this new addition. Bett just bored the hell out of me & was more a spoiled brat than anything. She just irritated to the very end. Even Trehan lacked a steak of wicked. He was more the pushover than she. This was a bad read after Lothoire.
