Adrian Flavell’s poetry has appeared in a number of magazines, journals and newspapers. In the early 1970s, he founded and edited the poetry magazine Fields. His first collection of poems, on drowning a rat (Picaro Press/Ginninderra Press), was published in 2015. His written work includes environmental educational material, scripts for TV’s Here’s Humphrey and a series of children’s books, Dan’s Days – Dan aged 7, 9 and 11½ (Clean Slate Press, NZ). shadows drag untidy is his second collection of poems.
