Problems, Mac OS 10.10.5

I love the content of this book, but I have experienced significant problems trying to view it on my 2015 Macbook Pro running OS X Yosemite (10.10.5). When I click on a pop-up content icon (Field Notes, Production Notes, Video Extras, etc.) it just shows a black screen. The pop-up content shows properly when viewed on my iPhone, but the text is so small I can barely read it.
