Definitely check this one out!
Shadows in the Curtain was a wonderful read with suspense, mystery and romance. I would say a little heavier on the romance side and that is probably why I enjoyed it so much. There were a few parts of the story that weren't developed very well, such as, Emmaline's past and why her Aunt Jalina behaved the way she did when she came to visit. This did not, in any way, detract from my ability to get into the book...it just left me wondering in the end. The characters and setting were relatable yet beautiful. I was invested in the main character and satisfied when all was said and done.
