It feels so great to go home again. This book was everything that I was hoping for and more. What a fantastically gripping story of how Shadows came to be. So looking forward to the next book in this series.
Amazing
What an amazing read!! The backstory of this incredible saga was so well written. I felt as if I was there, experiencing everything with them. The way the return from Nam was told and the heart wrenching ugly truths of that time ripped my heart apart. The pain that they experienced the fears and nightmares were so real.
This story had everything - love, history, heartache and most importantly the true value of family.
I loved every word, every page, every emotion. I can not wait to dive into the next book.
I definitely need more than 5 stars!!
