Shake Baby, Shake

Be warned that this is no ordinary travel book. anyone would be unwise to use it as a guide should they ever consider driving from cairns to melbourne for the simple reason that this trip only took place in my mind and is not filled with facts that have been properly researched. It is the story of a journey i should liked to have taken in a very small car, a 1957 fiat 500, which I still have a great fondness for some fifty years after owning one.
It is also a story written by a person who, having been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and being forever grateful to all the people who played a part in curing him is sure that, had he been wealthy, would have made a substantial donation towards research into the causes and cure of the horrible disease. alas, only in this yarn have I been able to achieve these things.
