Shameless

I hired my best friend's butler to be my fake boyfriend. He forgot to mention he was a Duke.

Britney Smith, she goes by Carlyle at work because "Smith, farm girl from Buncombe County" doesn't fit the corner office, needed one thing. One polished, impressive, no-questions-asked plus-one for the year-end investor gala. Charlie Norouzi's butler, Michael Fuller, was available for the right price. British accent. Devastating eyes. Could serve tea and dismantle an ego in the same sentence.

She didn't plan to sleep with him.

She definitely didn't plan to get pregnant.

And she had no idea the man she's been tipping in cash is the Marquis of Barkley, heir to the Dukedom of Aindal, and currently in the middle of a war with his sister Bernadette over an inheritance that could all vanish if the tabloids learn he's about to have an illegitimate baby with a Manhattan financial wizard whose mother milks goats in North Carolina.

Secret duke / fake butler. Surprise pregnancy. Marriage of convenience. Farm girl hides her roots. Scheming sister villain.
