Shard
A really nice read. Well written. Very much in the Lord of the Rings style but an original story well told.
Highly derivative
If you've read the LotR trilogy, you'll easily be able to place events described there with events in this book. It can be a fun read, but my biggest sense of excitement came from seeing how the author would modify Tolkien's work in each chapter. If this book gets listed as anything more than free, it's a ripoff.
Lowering my score now that he's actually charging for it.
LOTR wanna be
This thing is such a bad rip off of the lord of the ring as to not be funny. Seriously it's obviously frodo Sam gandalf & a not so bright aragorn. Don't waist your time. Well he at least threw in 9 dwarves to switch it up slightly.
