Shared Enemy

Newly widowed Elizabeth struggles to figure out who she is after more than thirty years of wedded bliss. Seeking tranquility and renewal, she leaves Cambridge, Massachusetts, and rents a cottage at the beach on Cape Cod, where she meets Carla, a Cape native with her own connection to the cottage, although it’s one she’s not eager to share.

When Elizabeth and Carla meet Tricia, a powerful, wealthy philanthropist, the three women form a bond that arises from the discovery of their common misery: a man whose very existence threatens to destroy all of them.

Elizabeth has no idea that buried deep beneath the tranquility of her little cottage lie the seeds of deception, heartbreak, and murder. Sorting through a web of lies, both new and old, the three women must use everything within their power to try to save not only themselves, but each other.
