“Every man’s must-read. Tell your guy to put down the remote and pick up She Comes First.”
Ian Kerner offers a radical new philosophy for pleasuring women in She Comes First—an essential guidebook to oral sex from the author of Be Honest—You’re Not That Into Him Either. The New York Times praises Kerner’s “cool sense of humor and an obsessive desire to inform,” as he “encourages men through an act that many find mystifying.” An indispensable aid to a healthier, more fulfilling sex life for her and him, She Comes First offers techniques and philosophy that have already earned raves from the likes of bestselling author and Loveline co-host Dr. Drew Pinsky as well as Playgirl magazine, which cheers, “Hallelujah!”
Dispelling the widely held myth of genital penetration as the apogee of sexual pleasure, Kerner, who holds a doctorate in clinical sexology, offers this witty, well-researched manual for "consistently leading women to orgasm" through cunnilingus. Loaded with practical anatomical information (the clitoris has 18 distinct parts, and more nerve fibers than any other part of the human body) and graphic line drawings, the book also touches on the less mechanical, more psychological aspects of oral sex, including the three assurances every woman needs from her lover to feel comfortable: (1) "you enjoy it as much as she does"; (2) "there's no rush"; and (3) "Her scent is provocative, her taste powerful: it all emanates from the same beautiful essence." Since studies show the average woman takes about 20 minutes to reach her first orgasm during a typical sex session, while men take a mere four minutes, Kerner advises men to delay their own climax and make oral sex "coreplay" ("the substantive phase in which sexual tension builds, culminates and then releases itself through the female orgasm"), instead of foreplay. Breaking down six stages of coreplay, from the "first kiss" to orgasm, Kerner speaks to both beginners and more seasoned lovers. His candor concerning his own bout with sexual dysfunction adds a compassionate tone and credibility to this decidedly pro-female methodology.

A Must Read For Both Men And Women
I haven't completed many books in my life maybe because I'm not much of a reader. I began reading this book because honestly I enjoy giving oral sex, my wife coached me to help me be better at the act itself. This book takes it to another level, it perfects the art and breaks it down. It was a dope read for me, I'll highly recommend it for this interested in being more then just penetration to their spouse. 😊📝✅
I struggle as the author says he struggles with sexual dysfunction, this book helped me to forget that and satisfy the love of my life! I would absolutely recommend this to every man, especially those who feel inadequate my cultural definitions of what it takes to be great in bed! Practice the mentality and techniques that are contained in this book and there will be greater mutual satisfaction and enjoyment!
Full of useless information, cheesy puns and information from more informative books
In all fairness this book has some good material but not anything new. The entire part 1 of the book just hammers in that oral sex is good, yes we get it, move on to something useful. The stuff you'd want to read or know about is scattered between quips that a middle schooler would find immature, and information that isn't needed. There is a part where the author spends several pages explaining that certain sexual positions are impractical or uncomfortable... He mentions that there are better alternatives to 69ing then spends pages talking about 69ing and why it's not so great without giving you an alternative. Bottom line, this book could have been much much shorter but the author did his best to cram it full of cringeworthy lines to make it seem longer and perhaps more legitimate. Pick one of the many books he uses as references and quotes from
