Sheffield Wednesday: The Complete Record

In July 2011, DB Publishing produced a £25, 700 page, colour history of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. Written by Jason Dickinson and John Brodie, the book tells you everything you need to know about the club right up to the end of season 2010-2011.

For the purposes of the electronic version, the editorial sections of the book have been broken down into three distinct sections so that the reader can pick and choose the individual part of the book that most attracts their interest. These three sections are:

1 - The History (including History of the Grounds)

2 - The Players and Managers

3 - The Matches to Remember

The book also includes 400 pages of statistics, with every team line up, result, attendance and scorers. However the limitations of the current e-book readers means that these cannot be recreated electronically. If you want to see this information then unfortunately it is only available in the hardback format.

Each of the three e-books include the full Acknowledgements, the Foreword from Howard Wilkinson and the full Introduction from the authors.



Sheffield Wednesday: The Complete Record is the definitive record of the club since its formation. Written by lifelong fan John Brodie and football historian Jason Dickinson, the book covers every aspect of the Owls' history from the early days through to membership of the Football League to the present day.

The book details the history of a unique football club who survived not only the trials of war, but also a string of relegations through the seasons.

Photographs and illustrations support the text and provide an insight into the evolution of the club. Every Football League season is covered, with match details, including teams and substitutes where applicable. A personal and career biography of all managers is included, along with similar details of prominent players.
