As they race to solve the mystery and return Fiona to her world, an impossible attraction between Tobias and Fiona grows and it seems their passion has the power to ignite Fiona's magic abilities. The strong chemistry between the leads; a multitude of well-drawn, unique secondary characters; and a gritty urban setting make this a winning read. Though part of a series, Warren excels at making her complex world accessible to new readers.
