Very interesting storyline and characters that come to life.
Shield-Maiden: Under the Howling Moon
Hervor knows she was born under a curse. She knows her grandfather wants her to be a spinster, stitching by a fire. He also wants her to be miserable. She wants far more than that. Yet when people invade their house to murder him, she defends him as well as the rest of the household. That event opens the door for others that lead to answers she only dreamt about. But will she survive to see them?
Loved the flow of this novel even though some of the men were stereotypically chauvinistic. At least, they have some strong women to teach them to appreciate everyone...
