Shifter love!
Slow burn! A terrific start to a new series with sexy wolf shifters. Heroine Loren is a traumatized young woman with no clue what she is or what her life could be. Until the hot cop Bill steps in to save her. Talk about intense burn as he tries to deny his feelings of alpha dominance. Loren seems ready for the challenge even if she doesn’t have a clue what she’s in for. I loved it when her mind, body and soul screamed “Mine” when Bill was near. Bill is just too dreamy as the alpha outside the pack. Major drama between him and pack leader Lukka. There’s a dark, gloomy setting for the story with lots of drizzle, rain and clouds. Loren was fabulous when she found her inner self and met the challenges to survive. Of course, the sexy cop is always right there to demand her obedience. The romance was a little too slow for me but I loved this start to a new series. Hot shifters, a pack feud and a sexy romance makes this a thrilling read. Loved it and I can’t wait for more!
I really enjoyed this.
Very different from other shifter romances I’ve read. It took a few chapters for me to really get into it but I’m glade I stuck it out! I like that it is on the Darker side. I also like and think is very refreshing is that it isn’t insta mate or insta lust/love. I need steam in my books but some are so far fetched even though I know what I’m reading is fantasy it’s still hard to believe. You do not have that with this book. I think the pacing of this book is perfect! All in all in my opinion I think this was a really good book and I’m definitely starting the second!

Book ends with “to be continued “. Really!! Don’t bother with this one.
